Downloads and saves your full library on this device (fast search3 sync). Sync once — then Songs, Albums, and Genres open instantly.

Overnight play: allow Notifications when asked, and set Battery → Unrestricted. Without those, Android/GrapheneOS will pause music after the screen is off for a while — opening the app then “magically” resumes it.

Android Auto: Sideloaded APKs (not from Play Store) often do not appear until you enable Unknown sources in Android Auto developer settings. Open the Android Auto app on the phone → About → tap Version 10× → enable Unknown sources. Then open TuneFriend once, thumbs-up some songs or start playback, and reconnect the car.
